Mark Rothman

Chances are you've seen this guy's name if you've watched any TV at all over the last few decades.

He wrote for "Happy Days" and "The Odd Couple" and co-created "Laverne and Shirley."

Yes, that Mark Rothman.

And now he has a very funny blog that you can find here.

One warning: Don't start catching up with his blog late at night or you'll be too laughing so much that you won't make it to bed until well into the next morning.

I noticed your blog address on an e-mail posting on the CEL group, and I couldn't resist. I have a first cousin named Mark Murphy and I had to make sure you aren't him. You aren't. I enjoy your posts. I shall return...

Thanks, Leilani!

Yes, I often wish my name weren't so common. In addition to me there is at least one athlete named Mark Murphy, and a noted jazz singer with the same name. I suppose I could change my name to Guglielmo Murphy, but I'd have to keep looking up how to spell Guglielmo, and then I'd probably be confused with Guglielmo Murphy, the famous athlete who sings like Mel Torme....
